Giovani dos Santos starts for Mexico in their quarter-final match against Senegal, as does tournament top scorer Konate.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Giovani dos Santos will start for Mexico in their Olympic quarter-final match against Senegal this afternoon.

Dos Santos is his side's top scorer at the Games so far, with two goals to his name, and he will partner Marco Fabian and Oribe Peralta up front.

Mexico's defence will have to be wary of the threat posed by Senegal's Moussa Konate, however, who has netted four times for the Africans so far at this Games, making him the tournament's top scorer.

Mexico: Corona; Jimenez, Salcido, Mier, Chavez, Reyes; Aquino, Enriquez; Dos Santos, Fabian, Peralta

Senegal: O Mane; Ciss, Ba, Gueye, Toure, Souare; Diame, S Mane, Kouyate; Yero, Konate
