Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray insists that he is not worried by Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Cardiff.

Middlesbrough manager Tony Mowbray has insisted that he is not worried by his side's 1-0 defeat to Cardiff City on Saturday.

Boro slumped to their first loss in 10 matches thanks to Matt Connolly's goal at the Cardiff City Stadium.

"I thought we played pretty well," said Mowbray. "There is a long way to go in the rest of the season and if we perform like we did today for long spells, then we will be okay."

The result has seen Middlesbrough slip down to third place in the Championship table.
