Result: Middlesbrough 0-0 Ipswich Town

Middlesbrough and Ipswich draw a blank at the Riverside.

Middlesbrough have maintained their unbeaten start to the season, drawing 0-0 with Ipswich at the Riverside.

Ipswich striker Michael Chopra missed one of the best first-half chances, firing straight at Boro keeper Carl Ikeme.

Neither side managed to break the deadlock with David Stockdale denying Scott McDonald midway through the second half.

Jason Scotland also threatened for the visitors, twice testing Ikeme before firing against the foot of the post.

Ipswich remain 13th while Boro are only one point behind Southampton at the top of the table.
