Middlesbrough have completed their first signing of the summer after agreeing a near-£4m deal to land Viktor Fischer from Ajax.
The Danish winger will be officially announced as a Boro player once the transfer window opens next month.
According to Gazette Live, Fischer's three-year deal will set the newly-promoted Premier League side back £4m, with additional performance bonuses and a sell-on fee inserted into his contract.
Talks of a move first emerged earlier this week, and it is thought that Fischer - who returned from a long-term injury layoff earlier this season to score 10 goals in 39 games - passed a medical on Wednesday.
Fischer, a full Denmark international, made 111 appearances for Ajax and scored a total 33 goals in that time.
