Middlesbrough goalkeeper Tomas Mejias has extended his contract with the Championship side.
The former Real Madrid man was due to be out of contract at the end of the season, but has extended his stay by two years until the end of the 2017-18 campaign.
He is the club's second-choice stopper behind Dimitrios Konstantopoulos, but has starred in cup competitions for Aitor Karanka's side this term.
In the league, Boro are second in the Championship, just a point behind Hull City, and chasing promotion back to the Premier League.
