Millwall make a strong start at Ewood Park and hold Blackburn Rovers to a goalless draw after 45 minutes.

Blackburn Rovers and Millwall have both spurned chances in an entertaining first half at Ewood Park.

Millwall looked lively in the early stages and were denied a great chance when Danny Murphy tackled Andy Keogh as the striker charged towards goal.

Scott Dann also got an important block on a goal-bound strike from Chris Wood.

Rovers responded and began to take control through Ruben Rochina, who turned in the penalty area before forcing a strong save from David Forde from close range.

Keogh twice found the back of the net with headers but on both occasions his efforts were ruled out for offside.
