Millwall manager Ian Holloway has stated that he is determined to help Magaye Gueye get his career back on track.

The 24-year-old joined the Lions on a free transfer last week following his release by Everton.

"I'm delighted to get him signed up - I have found him to be a very pleasant boy," Holloway told News at Den.

"He wants to listen, he wants to learn and I want him to fulfil his potential. Every now and again you take on a player like him. I'm going to try to help him and put him straight. Players lose their way for all sorts of reasons.

"I want to get him back on the right path and get him enjoying his football again. When he's fit he's a really good player."

Gueye has signed a 12-month deal at The Den.
