Millwall manager Ian Holloway has claimed that new signing Stefan Maierhofer will help the club to avoid relegation from the Championship this season.
The former Wolverhampton Wanderers player joined the Lions on a short-term deal on Friday.
"Big Stefan will make a difference for us," Clubcall.com quotes Holloway as saying.
"In the last couple of weeks we've gone 1-0 down in two games and the other team have sat back and we couldn't break them down.
"With Stefan up there teams won't be able to drop off. We'll be more difficult to defend against."
The target man made his Millwall debut on Saturday in their goalless draw with Charlton Athletic.
