Millwall boss Ian Holloway wants change in mentality

Millwall boss Ian Holloway wants a change in his side's attitude after picking up just one win from their last eight games.

Millwall manager Ian Holloway has stated that there needs to be a change in his side's attitude after one win from their last eight games.

After making a strong start to the season, the Lions have not recorded a single win in September, which has seen them drop to 16th in the Championship table.

Holloway has said that his team must regain their focus, starting with tonight's match against Birmingham City, a team they have not beaten since 1996.

"They're a bogie team for me as well so we've got to turn our record around against them," the Millwall boss told News at Den. "There needs to be a few changes in people's attitude. We've just got to get on with things.

"We're not a bad team but we've got to stay on task. We've got to get our mentality back. We've got to keep fighting because that's what life is about, particularly at Millwall.

"We've had a half-decent start and if we win tonight and the game after that we'll be back where we need to be."

Millwall lost 2-1 to Huddersfield Town in their last outing on Saturday.
