Preview: MK Dons vs. Sunderland

Sports Mole previews the Carling Cup tie between MK Dons and Sunderland.

Sunderland travel to MK Dons for a round three Capital One Cup tie on Tuesday with the majority of bookmakers offering a high chance of an upset occurring.

Those that believe that the Dons are capable of knocking out their Premier League visitors can back the League One side at around 5/2.

However, any defeat Karl Robinson's side may inflict will have to be done without the services of experienced midfielder Jimmy Bullard, who is suffering with a knee injury.

Full-back Jon Otsemobor is also struggling with a muscular injury and may have to settle for a place on the bench.

Meanwhile, Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill is expected to rotate his squad for the trip.

As a result, the likes of Connor Wickham and Louis Saha are expected to start the encounter.
