Montpellier HSC manager Rolland Courbis has said that his side are making progress following their 1-1 draw with AS Monaco last night.
Lowly Montpellier went a goal down when Layvin Kurzawa opened the scoring for Monaco in the 52nd minute, however, Courbis and his men came away with a point thanks to an equaliser from M'baye Niang.
"When a match finishes 1-1, the team that equalises feels more like the winner. We don't look like we should be 17th, but we are," Courbis told reporters.
"If you compare this game to our match against Saint-Etienne, then we are making progress. We didn't perform in that game, but here we were coherent, even if we can still get better in every area.
"Little by little, four or five players are coming back to something like their level. I am very pleased with them."
The result sees Montpellier sitting in 17th position in the Ligue 1 table.
