Montpellier president Louis Nicollin has reportedly spoken to the players personally about their recent poor performances in Ligue 1.
According to L'Equipe, Nicollin talked to the team in the changing room before their training session on Tuesday, and also criticised his son and club CEO Laurent for not informing him about the sale of Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa to Newcastle United in January until the last moment.
The report also claims that the 69-year-old came down heavily on playmaker Younes Belhanda and left-back Henri Bedimo for not performing corresponding to their high wage.
Montpellier are currently seventh in Ligue 1 with 48 points from 32 matches.
