Ten-man Montreal Impact hold Philadelphia Union

Ten-man Montreal Impact hold Philadelphia Union to a 1-1 draw at the PPL Park in the MLS.

Philadelphia Union have been held to a 1-1 draw by 10-man Montreal Impact at PPL Park in the MLS Eastern Conference.

Vincent Nogueira fired the Union ahead 10 minutes before the interval courtesy of a neat pass from Jack McInerney.

Impact's quest to restore parity became tougher on 76 minutes after Andrew Wenger was issued with a straight red card for a tackle on Nogueira.

However, in spite of their numerical disadvantage, Marco di Vaio fired an equaliser four minutes later to stun the hosts and earn an impressive point for the Canadian side.
