Africa Cup of Nations favourites Morocco will look to take a huge step toward the knockout stages of the competition when they take on Congo DR at Stade Laurent Pokou on Sunday afternoon.

Group F in this competition also features Zambia and Tanzania, who will square off in the other match in this group at this venue directly after the conclusion of this showdown between the current group leaders.

We say: Morocco 3-1 Congo DR


While Congo DR have fared well against Morocco in the past, The Atlas Lions currently have arguably the best squad in the competition on paper, and they are quickly becoming one of the most formidable teams on the continent. This should be a good watch, but we can only see it ending in victory for the tournament favourites.

The second round of matches in Group F at the Africa Cup of Nations will see Zambia taking on Tanzania at Stade de San Pedro on Sunday afternoon.

Tournament favourites Morocco have shot off to lead the group after the first round of matches and they will take on second-placed Congo DR at this venue earlier in the day.

We say: Zambia 1-0 Tanzania


While Zambia were far from impressive in attack in their first match, their defensive solidity was commendable, and they will likely prioritise keeping a clean sheet in this match against a Tanzania attack that lacks genuine firepower. This has the feel of a low-scoring, tactical match, and we feel that the first goal will likely end up being the winner.

South Africa vs. Namibia (Sunday, 8.00pm)

South Africa will be looking to earn their first point in the Africa Cup of Nations when they take on their neighbours Namibia at Amadou Gon Coulibaly Stadium on Sunday evening.

While it is still only matchday two in the competition, Bafana Bafana will have to treat this as a knockout encounter, while the Brave Warriors can book their place in the next round with a win.

We say: South Africa 1-1 Namibia


The pressure is on South Africa to get a win here, especially with a difficult final group match against Tunisia likely to determine their fate. Namibia were deserved winners in their first match, and while they would relish the opportunity to beat their neighbours, they would likely settle for a draw here, which would put them in a very strong position to reach the last 16.

It should be an intense match between two sides that know each other very well, and we feel there will be nothing to split them at the final whistle.
