Team News: Celtic make three changes for Motherwell trip

Celtic boss Ronny Deila makes three changes for his side's trip to Motherwell.

Captain Scott Brown has been named in Celtic's starting lineup for their trip to Motherwell.

The midfielder had been a doubt after picking up an ankle injury, but he has recovered in time to take his place in the side.

In three changes to the side that beat Hamilton Academical before the international break, Nadir Ciftci, Stuart Armstrong and Efe Ambrose have all been selected, with Leigh Griffiths, who drops to the bench, the notable absentee.

New Motherwell boss Mark McGhee, who has only had four days with the squad, has opted to relegate striker Scott McDonald to the substitutes' bench.

Motherwell: Ripley, Grimshaw, Laing, McManus, Pearson, Fletcher, Johnson, Chalmers, Kennedy, Law, Moult
Subs: Samson, Ainsworth, Lasley, Robinson, Leitch, Thomas, McDonald

Celtic: Gordon; Ambrose, Boyata, Blackett, Izaguirre; Brown, Bitton, Commons, Rogic, Armstrong; Ciftci
Subs: Bailly, Tierney, Lustig, McGregor, Griffiths, Mackay-Steven, Stokes
