Aiming to bridge the gap between themselves and a top-eight spot, surprise package NAC Breda will host Champions League-chasing FC Twente at Rat Verlegh Stadion on Sunday afternoon in the Eredivisie.
Parel van het Zuiden returned from the winter break with a disappointing defeat at their base last time out, whilst the Tukkers have endured a mixed start to 2025 across league and cup duties.
We say: NAC Breda 1-2 FC Twente
After defeating Ajax earlier in the campaign, NAC Breda will be looking to take the scalp of another Dutch powerhouse at Rat Verlegh Stadion on Sunday afternoon.
Despite their inconsistencies on the road so far this season, a Steijn-led Twente should have enough quality to collect maximum points this weekend.

A key battle at the bottom end of the Eredivisie table will take place at Yanmar Stadion on Sunday, as Almere City welcome Heracles.
The hosts currently sit in the automatic relegation zone, while their visitors are five points better off and two above the relegation playoff place after 17 league games.
We say: Almere City 1-1 Heracles
We certainly expect a tight contest on Sunday between two sides who have struggled for large parts of the 2024-25 campaign thus far in what is a crucial game in the battle for survival.
Buoyed by their first displays under new management, we back Almere City to continue an unbeaten streak and take a share of the spoils with home advantage.

Aiming to maintain their invincible status at home in the top flight, Heerenveen will welcome Dutch powerhouses Ajax to Abe Lenstra Stadion on Sunday afternoon for an all-important Eredivisie clash.
De Superfriezen suffered a sobering cup defeat last time out ahead of this league fixture, whilst De Godenzonen also experienced a premature exit from the KNVB Cup.
We say: Heerenveen 1-1 Ajax
With a number of key injuries and suspensions in defence, Heerenveen could be an easier nut to crack than usual at their Abe Lenstra fortress on Sunday.
Ajax will be desperate to returning to winning ways following their KNVB Cup loss last time out, although we feel that De Godenzonen will be forced to settle for a point.

The penultimate fixture on matchday 19 in the Eredivisie will come from Goffertstadion where NEC Nijmegen will be playing host to Fortuna Sittard on Sunday afternoon.
These two are separated by five points and five places in the league standings, with the hosts in the 12th spot on 20 points, while the visitors are eighth with 25 points.
We say: NEC 2-2 Fortuna Sittard
While NEC managed to bring an end to a five-match winless run last weekend against PEC Zwolle, they are now set to face a much sterner task against top-half opposition.
Fortuna Sittard have only won two away games this season, but they have been tough to beat on the road, losing only once in their last six outings, and we feel they will be able to earn a share of the spoils in this one.

Sparta vs. RKC Waalwijk (Sunday, 7.00pm)

This weekend's Eredivisie action will draw to a close with a crucial matchup at the bottom end of the table, with Sparta Rotterdam playing host to RKC Waalwijk on Sunday evening.
The hosts currently occupy the sole relegation playoff spot with 13 points, while the visitors are at the bottom of the league standings with just seven points after 18 games.
We say: Sparta Rotterdam 2-1 RKC Waalwijk
Sparta Rotterdam were desperately unlucky not to have come away from Almelo with all three points last week after a late red card led to them conceding in stoppage time.
Now back on their home patch and set to face an opponent they have not lost to in their last six encounters, we feel the hosts will be able to make amends for last week's disappointment by edging the visitors in this one.
