Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis has confirmed that Juan Zuniga has signed a new long-term contract with the Serie A giants.
Zuniga's future at the San Paolo had been the subject of speculation for months, with the Colombian international's deal due to expire at the end of the season.
De Laurentiis has used Twitter to reveal that Zuniga has signed a fresh five-year contract extension, with the Azzurrri chief insisting that his loyalty deserves recognition.
He tweeted: "I'm glad to be able to announce that Zuniga will stay with us another five years."
The 27-year-old has helped Rafael Benitez make a superb start to life in Naples, with the Spaniard unbeaten in seven matches with the Azzurri.
Napoli are currently preparing for their latest test in the Champions League, which comes against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium tonight.
