Rafael Benitez praises Gonzalo Higuain impact

Napoli manager Rafael Benitez says that Gonzalo Higuain made the difference for the club during their 4-2 win over Lazio.

Napoli manager Rafael Benitez has praised Gonzalo Higuain for his display during the club's 4-2 win over Lazio on Monday evening.

The Argentine scored striker two of his team's four goals at the Stadio Olimpico, and Benitez was delighted with the all-round performance of the striker.

"Clearly Higuain is a player who can make the difference for us. I spoke to him before the game, but I spoke to many of the players," he told Sky Sport Italia.

"The most important thing is not just that he scored, but that he put in a good performance, scared defenders and create space for teammates. It was difficult for us to play our style of football on this turf."

Napoli are currently third in the Serie A table.
