Napoli remain second in Serie A with a 2-1 home win against Catania.

Napoli have maintained their impressive start to the Serie A campaign with a 2-1 victory over Catania at home.

All three goals came in the opening 25 minutes at the Stadio San Paolo in Naples that sustained Rafael Benitez's side unbeaten streak in the Italian top flight.

Jose Callejon broke the deadlock as early as the 15th minute when he shot home from outside the box after being released by Blerim Dzemaili.

Marek Hamsik made it 2-0 to the home side just five minutes later when his long-range shot flew into the net past goalkeeper Mariano Andujar.

Catania pulled one back through Lucas Castro in the 25th minute but the visitors failed to trouble the Napoli during the rest of the match, with the home side creating a number of chances in the second half but in vain.
