Sunday's Serie A predictions including Udinese vs. Juventus

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Serie A fixtures, including Udinese vs. Juventus.

Napoli vs. Sampdoria (Sunday, 5.30pm)

Two teams at opposite ends of the Serie A standings meet at Stadio Maradona on Sunday, as champions Napoli host relegated Sampdoria on the final day of the season.

A historic campaign for the Partenopei saw their 33-year wait for a Scudetto finally ended, while their Ligurian counterparts fell apart at the seams and will finish rock-bottom regardless of the result this weekend.

We say: Napoli 2-0 Sampdoria

With history already made and several key men planning their exits, Napoli have been waning for a while now. However, they will want to sign off a superb campaign in style, so can put poor Samp to the sword again and reach 90 points for the season.

Atalanta vs. Monza (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Aiming to secure fifth place in Serie A with a win, Atalanta BC play host to mid-table Monza on Sunday, in their final fixture of the season.

Despite falling short in the quest for a Champions League return, the Bergamaschi can guarantee Europa League qualification by beating regional rivals who have defied expectation to seek a top-half finish.

We say: Atalanta BC 1-1 Monza

Given Atalanta are rarely convincing on home soil and Monza have proved themselves solid when hitting the road, a share of the spoils is on the cards. The visitors recruited well last summer and have forged a fearless mentality; in many ways, following in the footsteps of their hosts - Serie A's serial overachievers.

Roma vs. Spezia (Sunday, 8.00pm)

After their agonising Europa League final defeat on Wednesday, Roma need to win against Spezia on the final day of the Serie A season this Sunday to ensure they reach the competition again next season.

Top-flight survival is on the agenda for the visitors though, as they enter the season finale level on points with Hellas Verona in a two-way battle to avoid the drop.

We say: Roma 2-1 Spezia

Despite Roma's heartache in midweek, Mourinho should be able to get his players motivated for one last push in what could be his late game in charge.

Spezia's form has been woeful in 2023, and they are lucky that Verona's has been similarly poor, with a relegation playout looking likely.

Lecce vs. Bologna (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Having secured their safety with a game to spare, Lecce welcome Bologna to Stadio Via del Mare on Sunday evening as the Serie A season draws to a close.

The hosts are guaranteed to finish 16th, while the visitors could finish anywhere between eighth and 11th depending on Sunday's results.

We say: Lecce 2-2 Bologna

The Stadio Via del Mare faithful will be in party mode on Sunday as they cheer on their team without any lingering relegation fears.

Bologna will be eager to finish as high up the table as possible, but the visitors may have to settle for a share of the spoils as the hosts aim to sign off on a high.

AC Milan vs. Hellas Verona (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Fighting for Serie A survival on the final day of the season, Hellas Verona visit the venue they fear the most, as AC Milan play host at San Siro on Sunday.

After blowing a lead last week, only victory for Verona will ensure at least a relegation playoff with Spezia, whose result they must match. Milan, meanwhile, secured a return to the Champions League by beating Juventus last time out.

We say: AC Milan 2-1 Hellas Verona

Milan have scored the most goals (21) during the first half-hour of games this season; Verona have conceded more times (10) from the 90th minute onwards than any other side.

Drama is surely in store, then, when the two teams meet at San Siro, where defeat for the visitors could send them down depending on how Spezia fare in the capital.

Udinese vs. Juventus (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Putting the full stop on an eventful year both on and off the pitch, Juventus visit mid-table Udinese on Sunday, in their final Serie A match of the season.

The re-imposition of a points penalty, a painful European exit and successive league defeats saw Juve end May gloomily - and they can finish no higher than fifth - but the Turin giants now tackle one of their favourite opponents, having dominated their fellow Bianconeri for many years.

We say: Udinese 1-1 Juventus

Not many teams leave Udine with more than a point, while Juventus are at their most brittle when on the road. As a result, the visitors will finish with a run of no wins in four; summing up a season to quickly forget.
