Napoli forward Manolo Gabbiadini has said that the club must do everything to keep hold of his teammate Gonzalo Higuain.
The Argentine scored 29 goals for the Azzurri last season, but he was heavily criticized for missing a decisive penalty in a 4-2 defeat to Lazio on the final day, which cost them a place in the Champions League.
He suffered further spot kick agony in the Copa America final earlier this month, but Gabbiadini has insisted that he still has a vital role to play for his club.
"They say a lot of things about Gonzalo," Gabbiadini told Radio Kiss Kiss.
"We shouldn't forget the number of decisive goals he scored. Pipita is untouchable, we must keep him here.
"He should take penalties, despite his misses over the last period."
Higuain has scored 53 goals in his 102 appearances for Napoli.
