Perth Glory and Newcastle Jets have played out a 0-0 draw at Hunter Stadium this morning.

In a quiet first half Ruben Zadkovic had a decent chance for the Jets when he arrived in the area from deep to fire at goalkeeper Danny Vukovic just before the break.

Samuel Gallaway went close in the second half for the Jets when he crashed a shot against the crossbar after Adam Taggart's backheel had sent him through on goal 10 minutes after the restart.

Perth had a chance after 83 minutes when Sidnei Sciola fired a shot goalwards that Jets goalkeeper Mark Birighitti did well to tip around the post.
