Papiss Cisse 'could make comeback this month after returning to full training'

Papiss Cisse could reportedly make his comeback from injury at the end of the month after returning to full training with Newcastle United.

Newcastle United forward Papiss Cisse could reportedly return to action this month after beginning full training with the team following a lengthy injury layoff.

The Senegal international, who scored four goals in 27 appearances last season, missed the entire pre-season calendar after fracturing a patella in April.

According to The Chronicle, Cisse could be included in the first team by the end of the month after making progress in his recovery.

This Saturday, the Magpies will travel to the South Coast to take on Southampton at St Mary's.
