Newcastle United midfielder Danny Guthrie could be ruled out of action for over a month with a groin problem.
The 24-year-old is the latest in a number of casualties for Magpies boss Alan Pardew, following the news that Steven Taylor was to be sidelined for the remainder of the season with an Achilles injury.
"Danny Guthrie could be a four-to-six-week job and there's no Cheik [Tiote] this weekend so we really are up against it squad wise and it's important now that everybody plays their part," The Mirror quotes Pardew as saying.
Newcastle take on newly-promoted Premier League side Norwich City at Carrow Road on Saturday.
