Martin Jol admits his frustration at not getting at least a point at Newcastle United today, after Papiss Cisse's late goal beat Fulham.

Fulham manager Martin Jol has admitted his frustration at conceding a late goal to Newcastle United this afternoon.

Papiss Cisse's 93rd-minute winner gave consigned Fulham to a 1-0 defeat, bringing their five-game unbeaten run to an end.

Jol gave credit to his opponents and insisted that Fulham are all but safe from relegation.

"I thought we controlled the game in the first half, it was almost perfect," said Jol.

"At [Tottenham Hotspur] we limited them and then scored, and that was our intention today. We didn't score so 0-0 would have been okay as they kept coming at us. Compliments to Newcastle but we should have had a bit more.

"I don't think we need to look down [in the league], but it is disappointing not to get at least a point today."

Fulham remain in 10th place in the Premier League after the result on 39 points.
