Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew has placed the pressure firmly on Liverpool ahead of the two sides' clash at Anfield on Friday evening.
The Magpies boss takes his team to Merseyside in the knowledge that victory would move them above Liverpool in the table, and he has stated that he believes Kenny Dalglish's side are struggling at home.
"Liverpool's home form has been disappointing. They will be under pressure now to get back to winning ways after investing a lot of money and they are expecting to compete," Pardew told The Sun.
"They are a very good side and I'd expect them to have a stronger second half than they did in the first half of the season."
Liverpool have won just three of their nine home games so far this season.
