Bournemouth are set to be without at least eight players for Saturday's Premier League clash with Newcastle United at St James' Park.
James Hill was forced off in the 2-2 draw at Chelsea on Tuesday with a hamstring injury and is set to join Evanilson (foot), Enes Unal (ACL), Alex Scott (knee), Marcos Senesi, Julian Araujo, Marcus Tavernier and Luis Sinisterra (all thigh) in the treatment room.
Adam Smith has been sidelined since December with a muscle problem and it remains to be seen whether the right-back will be fit to return this weekend.
The potential absence of both Smith and Hill could see Lewis Cook fill in on the right side of a back four next to Illia Zabarnyi, Dean Huijsen and Milos Kerkez, while Kepa Arrizabalaga is set to replace Mark Travers in goal after he was ineligible to face parent club Chelsea in midweek.
If Cook is moved to right-back, Ryan Christie would be expected to drop into a deeper midfield role alongside Tyler Adams, with Justin Kluivert recalled to operate in the number 10 role.
David Brooks is in line to retain his spot on the right flank, while Antoine Semenyo - who scored along with Kluivert in the draw with Chelsea - is set to share responsibility with Dango Ouattara on the left-wing and centre-forward roles.
Bournemouth possible starting lineup: Kepa; Cook, Zabarnyi, Huijsen, Kerkez; Christie, Adams; Brooks, Kluivert, Semenyo; Ouattara
