Fabricio Coloccini starts at the back, despite speculation linking him with a move away from the club. Newcastle's captain is partnered in central defence by Mike Williamson.

The visitors have retained the services of Leroy Fer and Gary Hooper, who are supported by midfielders Bradley Johnson and Jonny Howson going forward.
