Team News: Cheick Tiote recovers from injury to make Newcastle United starting XI

Newcastle United midfielder Cheick Tiote recovers from injury to make his side's starting XI for this afternoon's Premier League clash against Hull City.

Newcastle United midfielder Cheick Tiote has returned to his side's starting lineup for this afternoon's Premier League clash against Hull City at St James' Park.

The Ivorian was a substitute in last week's defeat away at Southampton, and has been deemed fit enough to make the starting XI against Steve Bruce's outfit.

However, Rolando Aarons has been ruled out until November and the match comes too soon for striker Papiss Cisse.

Hull City midfielder Stephen Quinn has overcome an ankle injury he picked up in the 2-2 draw against West Ham United on Monday.

Thomas Ince returns after being rested for that match, while on-loan Hatem Ben Arfa can't play against his parent club as per his contract terms.

Newcastle United: Krul, Janmaat, Coloccini, Williamson, Dummett, Tiote, Colback, Cabella, Sissoko, Gouffran, Riviere
Subs: Elliot, S.Taylor, Haidara, Anita, Ameobi, Perez, Cisse

Hull City: McGregor, Elmohamady, Davies, Dawson, Robertson, Livermore, Huddlestone, Diame, Quinn, Jelavic, Hernandez
Subs: Harper, Rosenior, Chester, Meyler, Brady, Aluko, Ramirez
