Newcastle United goalkeeper Jak Alnwick has claimed that he is eager to move to the Eredivisie.
The 21-year-old, who has made eight senior appearances for the Magpies this season, recently joined Bradford City on loan until the summer.
However, the youngster is hopeful that he can seal a switch to the Netherlands in the near future after talking with his Dutch teammates at St James' Park.
"I've spoken with Siem de Jong and Tim Krul about a possible transfer," he told Goal.com. "I rate the Eredivisie very highly and they told me that it's a great opportunity for young players to develop myself. I don't know which clubs are interested, but my agent is sorting things out so I can focus on Bradford."
Alnwick has made one appearance for Bradford since arriving at Valley Parade.
