Newcastle United have reportedly made Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette a summer transfer target.
Magpies manager Alan Pardew is expected to make signing at least one centre-forward his priority, particularly because Loic Remy and Luuk de Jong will see their loan deals expire at the end of the season, while Shola Ameobi is expected to depart St James' Park on a free transfer.
Having considered a number of options, 22-year-old Lacazette has moved to the top of Pardew's wishlist, sources in France have informed the Newcastle Chronicle.
Lacazette, who has two years left to run on his current contract with Lyon, has scored 16 goals in all competitions this season.
