Newcastle United have reportedly had a bid rejected by French club Dijon for midfielder Benjamin Corgnet.
Corgnet, who has scored seven goals in 18 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit, is believed to be on the verge of a call-up to Laurent Blanc's Bleus after impressing in Dijon's first season in the top flight.
"He won't be far off £10m at the end of the season," said Patrice Carteron, the club's manager, according to The Sun.
Corgnet, 24, has also been linked with a move to Premier League sides Aston Villa and Blackburn Rovers.
