Newcastle United table a £12m bid for Ivory Coast striker Vitesse Arnhem, with West Ham United and Everton among the Premier League clubs monitoring the situation.

Newcastle United have reportedly made their interest in Wilfried Bony concrete this week by tabling a £12m offer for the Ivory Coast striker.

Bony has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League for over a year, with West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce a long-term admirer of the free-scoring forward.

The Magpies have stolen a march on their rivals for Bony's signature by offering Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem around £12m for the 24-year-old, according to talkSPORT.

Everton, Swansea City and Anzhi Makhachkala are all thought to be monitoring Bony's availability this summer after a breakthrough season in Eredivisie, which saw the marksman bag 31 league goals.
