Newcastle United have reportedly decided that Cheick Tiote and Florian Thauvin will remain at St James' Park if their valuation of each player is not met by interested clubs.
It has been claimed that the Magpies are willing to allow the pair to leave the North-East should they receive what they consider to be an acceptable offer but as it stands, they have only rejected bids for the two midfielders.
According to Sky Sports News, Al Jazira have made an offer for Tiote and Lazio have shown an interest in Thauvin but neither bid came close to tempting Newcastle into a sale.
Tiote made 20 appearances in the Premier League last season as the Magpies suffered relegation to the Championship, while Thauvin ended last season on loan at former club Marseille having failed to impress after a £12m move to England.
