Newcastle United are interested in signing Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, according to reports.

Newcastle United have joined the list of clubs targeting Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, according to reports.

Lacazette was linked with a host of clubs including Chelsea and Liverpool in the summer.

The Sunday People claims that Newcastle chief scout Graham Carr was spotted in the stands at Lyon's Champions League draw against Belgian club Gent this week.

Lacazette has failed to score in the last seven appearances for the club.
