Alan Pardew expects Yohan Cabaye return

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew believes that midfielder Yohan Cabaye will return to the squad for their match with Fulham on Saturday.

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has revealed that he expects midfielder Yohan Cabaye to feature against Fulham at the weekend.

Cabaye has missed the club's opening three matches after Arsenal registered an interest in signing him hours before the Magpies' opening Premier League match with Manchester City.

Pardew deemed Arsenal's bid "unacceptable" after he revealed that it had 'turned the Frenchman's head'.

However, Pardew believes that the 27-year-old will feature at the weekend after he took part in training this week.
