Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has revealed that he hopes to sign another striker before the end of the transfer window.
The Magpies have already added one forward to their squad this summer in the form of Loic Remy from Queens Park Rangers on a season-long loan.
"I think [the players] would like to see another striker come in the door," Pardew told the Newcastle Chronicle. "That's something that hopefully will be done before the window shuts."
Newcastle play their first home match of the season on Saturday when they host West Ham United in the Premier League.
