Paul Clement expects Carlo Ancelotti to return to Premier League

Paul Clement believes that Carlo Ancelotti will be eager to return to the Premier League when his break comes to an end.

Paul Clement has claimed that Carlo Ancelotti would be eager to return to the Premier League in the future.

Ancelotti is taking time off to have surgery on an issue in his neck after being sacked by Real Madrid, and his former assistant Clement believes that the former Chelsea boss will be interested in a second spell in England.

Asked whether he could see himself coming up against the Italian in the Premier League, the new Derby County boss told reporters: "I really hope so. That would be special.

"I have a great relationship with him. He loved working in England, and if the right opportunity came up he wouldn't think twice about coming back here."

Clement worked with Ancelotti at Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Real.
