Kylian Mbappe has reportedly demanded a clause in his next contract that will allow him to participate in the next Olympic Games for France.
It is unknown where he will be playing next season, with plenty of transfer speculation surrounding him at the moment, but an addition to his contract could end up reflecting his desire to be part of the Olympic Games.
The 2024 Olympic Games will be taking place in France, and football is sure to be involved in the global event once again.
Mbappe's mother, Fayza Lamari spoke with Le Parisien and made it clear that this is an important situation for him, stating: "That will be in his contract."
"They will then have to select him. The Olympic Games are in his home city and PSG are not against him competing in it."
France were involved in the 2020 tournament, but they were unable to get out of the group stage for the competition which was eventually won by Brazil.
