Former Ipswich Town and Queens Park Rangers boss Jim Magilton has joined A-League side Melbourne Victory as interim manager until the end of the season.
Magilton replaces Mehmet Durakovic after the ex-Australia boss was sacked on Friday after just seven months in charge.
"It all happened pretty quickly," Magilton told Sky Sports News.
"I got a phone call, the opportunity arose and I snapped it up.
"I am sitting here because the season thus far has not been as productive as we would all have hoped, but that is not to say that the second half of the season can't be great."
Magilton managed Ipswich for three years between 2006 and 2009.
