The Federated States of Micronesia suffered their third straight record defeat with a 46-0 hammering at the hands of Vanuatu in an Olympic qualifying tournament earlier today.
Micronesia, who are making their first appearance at an Oceania Football Confederation tournament, were beaten 30-0 by Tahiti in their first match to equal a Pacific Games record before Fiji put 38 past them to set a new mark.
That has now been surpassed by Vanuatu after they kept their hopes of qualifying alive with a big win on Tuesday.
Jean Kaltack scored 16 of Vanuatu's goals in a game that Micronesia coach Stan Foster described as "boys against men".
