Nice came from behind to claim a point in a 1-1 draw with Evian on Sunday.
It was the home side who started the better and they might have taken the lead after just three minutes with an effort from Kafoumba Coulibaly, but his strike just missed the post.
It was Evian who took the lead, however, after 13 minutes when Nemanja Pejcinovic could only slice into his own net.
It was so nearly two for the away side after 16 minutes, but Saber Khelifa's header just missed the target, before Renato Civelli came close for Nice.
Civelli again came close after 23 minutes, but Nice were back on terms after 35 minutes when Pejcinovic made amends for his own goal by finding the bottom corner with a powerful finish.
It was the home side who started the seocnd period the better and Esmael Goncalves so nearly headed them into an early lead, but it drifted wide of the post.
Coulibaly twice came close to giving Nice the lead before the hour mark, but he was denied by the Evian defence.
Chances remained few and far between in the latter stages, as they shared the points.
