The agent of Netherlands international Wesley Sneijder has denied that he has held talks with Nice over a move for his client.
Sneijder is available on a free transfer this summer after being released from Galatasaray, and the 33-year-old has been linked with a move to Nice over the last week.
Speculation that the experienced midfielder was close to joining the French club intensified when his agent Guido Albers was present during Wednesday's 1-1 draw with Ajax in the third qualifying round of the Champions League.
However, Albers has insisted that his visit to the Allianz Arena was nothing to do with Sneijder.
Albers told L'Equipe: "I was present during the match against Ajax on Wednesday because I take care of some players at the club. I found the stadium and the fans to be fantastic, but we have not discussed Wesley at all with the leaders of Nice. Maybe there will be interest later, [but] there is absolutely nothing."
Sneijder, who is the leading appearance-maker for Netherlands on 131 caps, represented Galatasaray for the last five seasons - scoring 45 times in 173 appearances following a 2013 move from Inter Milan.
