Norwich City manager Alex Neil has extended his contract at Carrow Road.
The 34-year-old only arrived in Norfolk back in January, but under his guidance the Canaries gained promotion back to the Premier League via the Championship playoffs last month.
His impact has now been rewarded by the club in the form of a "new and improved longer-term contract".
"I'm delighted to sign a new contract with Norwich City. Both parties were taking a chance when I was appointed but it's worked out very well for all involved, and I'm happy this has been sorted before the season gets underway," he told the club's official website.
"I've really enjoyed my five months at the club, hopefully it is just the beginning as we now look forward to playing in the Barclays Premier League."
Since Neil was appointed, Norwich won 17 of their 25 matches, losing just three times.
