Norwich City defender Russell Martin believes that the team's late goal against Bolton Wanderers at the weekend has hurt their promotion rivals.
A 93rd-minute winner from Gary Hooper earned the Canaries a 2-1 victory at the Macron Stadium, and Martin has revealed that the club feel as though they are on the verge of producing something "very special" as they target a return to the top flight.
The 29-year-old told the club's official website: "We are four wins away from doing something very special.
"It was a similar situation the last time we won promotion to the Premier League. We scored plenty of late goals, and it shows the character and desire of the team to keep going.
"Bolton away is not an easy game, and people would have looked at that game late on and thought it would have ended in a draw, so the late goal would have wounded a few of our rivals."
Norwich travel to Leeds United on Tuesday night as they look to record their fifth successive win.
