Paul Lambert has expressed his happiness as Norwich City returned to the Premier League with a 1-1 draw away against Wigan Athletic.
The Canaries fell behind to a Ben Watson penalty but levelled up proceedings before the break through Irish midfielder Wesley Hoolahan.
"I think away from home you've got to be reasonably happy with a point," the manager told Sky Sports News.
"I thought we were unlucky to go behind, we were in the ascendancy, but that's what happens when you're playing against top players, they can hurt you."
After the match, Norwich confirmed the signing of Liverpool central defender Daniel Ayala.
