Norwich City boss Alex Neil after Newcastle United win: 'Still lots to do'

Norwich City boss Alex Neil says that there is still "lots to do" after his side beat Newcastle United late on to move four points clear of the Premier League drop zone.

Norwich City manager Alex Neil has insisted that there is still "lots to do" after watching his side beat fellow Premier League strugglers Newcastle United 3-2 in the 93rd minute.

Norwich edged four points clear of the bottom three thanks to Martin Olsson's last-gasp strike after twice throwing away a lead against the Magpies.

"It was a strange game but we were the better team throughout," Neil told BBC Sport after the match. "It looked as if we were going to fail to capitalise but that's the best way to win a game.

"We went through the other side against Liverpool, conceding in the last minute of stoppage time, so huge credit to the players. We have great spirit here and we showed that in abundance.

"Football is an entertainment sport and everyone has gone home with their money's worth. We have started to turn it around, that's seven points in three games. There's lots to do yet. We have Crystal Palace and Sunderland to come which are as big as today was - if not bigger. But it's a good start."

North-East duo Sunderland and Newcastle do both have a game in hand on the Canaries.
