Norwich City's Chris Hughton confident of Premier League survival

Chris Hughton is confident that Norwich City will retain their Premier League status next season.

Norwich City manager Chris Hughton has said that he is confident of his side avoiding relegation from the Premier League at the end of the season.

The Canaries are currently 14th in the league table with 35 points from 33 matches, four points above the relegation zone.

"We've said you have to look around the 40-point mark and there are teams around us capable of winning games," he told BBC Sport. "We have to look after our own business and get the points that we need."

Norwich lost 3-1 to Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday.
