Team News: Richard Chaplow makes full Ipswich Town debut against Norwich City

Mick McCarthy gives Richard Chaplow his full Ipswich Town debut for the East Anglian derby against Norwich City.

Mick McCarthy has handed Richard Chaplow his full Ipswich Town debut in this afternoon's East Anglian derby against Norwich City.

Chaplow's inclusion is one of two changes made by McCarthy from the side that beat Birmingham City 4-2 on Tuesday night.

He replaces Paul Anderson on the right, with Jay Tabb getting the nod over Jonathan Parr on the left side. New loan signing Chris Wood only makes the bench for the visitors.

There is also a place in the matchday squad for the first time for 17-year-old academy product Kundai Benyu.

Hosting Norwich, meanwhile, have just one change in their side from the 2-1 win at Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday.

Alexander Tettey comes in to take Graham Dorrans's place in midfield, with top-scorer Cameron Jerome still on the bench as Norwich chase their sixth win in a row.

Norwich: Ruddy; Whittaker, Martin, Bassong, Olsson; Tettey, Johnson; Redmond, Howson, Hoolahan; Grabban
Subs: Turner, Jerome, Hooper, Andreu, Garrido, Dorrans

Ipswich: Bialkowski; Chambers, Smith, Berra, Mings; Skuse, Chaplow, Tabb, Bru; Sears, Murphy
Subs: Gerken, Parr, Clarke, Anderson, Benyu, Varney, Wood
