Melbourne Heart want to sign Grant Holt

Melbourne Heart CEO Scott Munn says that the club are interested in signing Norwich City striker Grant Holt.

Melbourne Heart CEO Scott Munn has said that the club are interested in signing Norwich City striker Grant Holt.

The Australian outfit had tried to bring in the 32-year old in January but were put off by Norwich's asking price.

However, Munn has said that Heart are still keen to sign Holt.

"We made an approach and we always knew that it would be made public and that with him being contracted for two more years it might be complicated," Sky Sports News quotes Munn as saying.

"We haven't closed the door on it as yet and will be pursuing it."

Holt scored eight goals in 38 appearances for Norwich last season.
